One Quarter, Full Weekend

Brass band, trad jazz, swamp blues, cabaret, zydeco, a little Satchmo … music fills the French Quarter Festival.

For three days, the French Quarter Festival explores the roots of Louisiana music. All the Quarter’s a stage, from Jackson Square to Woldenberg Riverfront Park to Bourbon Street to the French Market, with music to fill your ears, food and drink available to fill your gut, and workshops and lectures to fill your mind.

THURSDAY, APRIL 19
7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
T.G.I.F. Party (Thank Goodness It’s Festival) featuring Deacon John & the Ivories, Muriel’s at Jackson Square, corner of Chartres and St. Ann streets.
