Spend the July 4th weekend with Mandeville mayor Eddie Price and friends

The Times-Picayune reports tonight that beleaguered Mandeville mayor Eddie Price got the same special treatment that he did on the Causeway back on another occasion in 2006 -- complete with no sobriety test and a cop-chauffeur ride back to Mandeville City Hall.
Want to ask Price about his driving habits, or perhaps get a state troopers' perspective? You'll get your chance this weekend, as Price is scheduled to appear at the 30th annual Mandeville Seafood Festival, where he'll take a turn in...the Louisiana State Troopers' Association's dunk tank.
And we'll let you write your own jokes about "dunk tanks"....

Why isn't Mayor of Mandeville, LA, Eddie Price, in front of a judge RIGHT NOW on DUI charges? It's because the sloven, whiskey-belly coward is just the most pathetic weak-kneed excuse for a citizen as you can get!!! So, far three police officers have quit, been demoted, or reprimanded. But, NOTHING has happened to the drunk driver. Where is Mandeville, in the Russia, in Cuba, in Louisiana??? It's all about the same place for the CODEPENDENT COPS who allow this beer-guzzling out-of -control and future hit and run manslaughter indictee to race around in his car at night trying to avoid the Mandeville children on their bicycles! Eddie Price, who recently crashed a Causeway toll gate while drunk without headlights, is the mayor of all-white Mandeville, whose residents hate New Orleans. They PRIDE themselves on being a LAW-ABIDING community. HA, HA, HA! What's this hick-town, Mayberry, USA?? Looks like Mandeville is being run by a drunk!!! What a disgrace this loser is! And the citizens of the community who allowed this drunk to be their MAYOR are no better. Many are law enforcement, lawyers, and civic-minded folks!!! Now we tell our kids...see Mayor Price, he's a drunk, stay off the road or YOU'LL BE HIS NEXT VICTIM!!! Why is everyone in Mandeville waiting for a this bozo Price to plow his car into a school bus, for Christ sakes??? Isn't someone in law enforcement or the judiciary going to DO THEIR JOB? Where's Mothers Against Drunk Drivers? Whose child has to die before someone says, "Hey, maybe we gotta get this boozer off the road before he kills some more of someone's loved ones?"
