A new cable television show starring New Orleans-based chef Emeril Lagasse debuts tonight with a mini-marathon of six back-to-back episodes.

Called Emeril Green, the new show revolves around the chef's approach to organic and locally-grown foods and, naturally, will be aired on Planet Green, a network from the same company behind the Discovery Channel.

The shows premiere tonight, Monday, July 14, beginning at 7 p.m. (central) and will air regularly Monday through Friday at 7 p.m.

Emeril Green is set in an enormous Whole Foods Market in Annapolis, Md., and follows Lagasse as he helps a home cook select groceries and then prepare a meal based around fresh foods at the grocery's in-store kitchen.
