For the players, yesterday's thunderstorm "arrived like a Christmas Present" and put the "Survivor: The New Orleans Wide Receiver Edition" on hiatus until the afternoon. Mark Brunell is A-OK with his backup role on the team. Speaking of backups, Sean Payton feels confident enough in his running backs to not pick up another one; Pierre Thomas, in particular, has been a pleasant surprise. The teams scrimmages today, so look for the defense to show off. And just in case you were wondering, New Orleans is named after the city of Orleans in France.
