Saints Scuttlebutt: 8/12

Jonathan Vilma is rocking flair on his helmet — no wonder the Chicks in the Huddle went for seconds and the Saints defense look to elminate opponents' big plays. The Saints have seen their fair share of changes since last year, just look at how good Robert Meachem is playing. Oh, and let's not forget Colston and some other random dude that caught passes and stuff. Of course now everyone is looking at the Saints second game, and first in the Superdome this preseason. Fans have to be wondering about Bush's knee and whether it will prevent him from earning that new contract he just signed. Seemingly under the radar is the close competition at kicker; "May the best man win" indeed.
