After posting the proposal to provide geothermal heat pumps to low-income homeowners, I came across this article in yesterday's New York Times. It provides a more in-depth view of how geothermal pumps, also known as ground source heat pumps, are becoming increasingly popular among energy conservationists and those with a tight budget.
