The City's "tiered re-entry" plan? Despite what the city's Web site says this morning, as Emily Litella would say, never mind:
New Orleans residents are now allowed back into the city, despite a planned 12:01 a.m. Thursday re-entry that was scheduled, Mayor Ray Nagin said.No one is being turned back as long as they can prove that they live in the city with an identification card, Nagin said. He said that while he was hoping to have businesses back first, he decided to let residents in after traffic began building up.
