2-Cent takes on Palin: Music video premiere Wednesday at Xavier

Posted by on Tue, Oct 28, 2008 at 2:48 AM

SNL's not the only one using rhyme to poke fun at VP nominee Sarah Palin. The crew behind the local hip-hop variety TV show 2-cent has put together a rap video paean to the thriller from Wasilla, titled "Mrs. Governor" (a parody of the Lil Wayne single "Mrs. Officer") and starring their recurrent Lil Wayne-inspired character Greezy F. Baby. The video screens at 5 p.m. Wednesday night at Xavier University in room NCF 105, followed by a musical guest and a discussion of the upcoming election. Check out their earlier (less political) parody of Weezy's "A Milli" video above.
