New Orleans is ready for a Ute party. Alabama fans will show up for the Sugar Bowl and Bowl ticket requests overwhelmed the Ute's system. But there are a lot of things to consider for bowl season as the Mountain West Conference makes case it belongs among the big boys.

Chris Paul's defensive brilliances is often overlooked  but as Paul beats Robertson's steal record in Hornets victory against San Antonio that will soon be a thing of the past. Despite the fact that an Ailing back forced Peja  missed Spurs game the Bees knocked down the Spurs in the 4th quarter.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees was selected to the Pro Bowl. But the celebration was short-lived as the Saints organization's thoughts and prayers will be with  the teams owner owner as  Tom Benson undergoes  cancer surgery. His doctor expects Benson to have 'full and complete recovery.' The Saints will try to stay focused as they try not to let Lions off the winless hook. New Orleans will have to do so without one of their many offensive weapons. Oh, and Reggie Bush's season is over, he will end the season on IR.
