"We're right on the cusp," said New Orleans Saints General Manager Mickey Loomis after it was announced that Bill Johnson is to be hired as defensive line coach for the Saints. Loomis and the Saints are still working to rebound after a disappointing season. Now the Saints are in waiting mode as former Jacksonville Jaguars' defensive coordinator Gregg Williams' interest in New Orleans appears strong.
Guard Rasual Butler was key in giving the Hornets a boost as they kept the Clippers on the losing end. But even though coach Byron is happy with the team's makeup he doesn't rule out a trade. Scott is feeling uneasy and he and the Hornets are hoping for more consistent play from their bench especially since guard Devin Borown has been slowed by a sprained ankle. Chris Paul, who's been the model of consistency is just 3rd in all star votes among the west's guards but even if Paul isn't voted into the All-Star game, it won't mean he won't be one-at least in New Orleans.
