New Orleans Wants You

For those considering applying, make no mistake about it: being New Orleans inspector general will be the toughest job you ever…fill in the blank. The position, however, might not be the most challenging of all in the world of inspector generals. You could end up here, but then again you’d have to be politically connected, which seems a bit counterproductive for inspector generals.
I don’t think Stuart Bowen is available anyway, and besides, he’s probably used to working with a slightly larger budget.

It’s a huge mistake for the OIG to let a third party underwrite its work, regardless of who that third party may be.
