Chris Paul fans, sneakerheads and anyone who enjoys looking at (what most likely will be) a mob scene take note: Paul will be at the Foot Locker on Canal Street from 6 to 6:45 p.m. tomorrow to promote the upcoming release of his second signature shoe, the Jordan CP3.II.
I've never been much of a sneaker collector as much as an admirer (at $118 a pop, these shoes are definitely out of my range even for daily wear), but it's not every day a world-class athlete takes time out of his schedule to meet and greet with some fans and sign a few hundred autographs.
You know Blog of New Orleans will be there to cover it (as well as the launch party at the Republic on Thursday night after the Hornets face the Mavericks), so get out there people.
