Happy New Year, Gambiteers

We made it through another year, Gambiteers -- living in and (usually) loving this crazy city. In our online survey this week, 73% of you thought 2010 would be a better year than 2009, and it's great to enter a new year with that spirit of optimism. It's been a rough year for newspapers, but we're still here and not going anywhere ... and we know that you aren't either. In fact, we've got some surprises for you as we enter 2010. Thanks for your readership and your friendship -- because we do feel our readers are our friends. Laissez la nouvelle année commencer!

Hey Kevin, Happy New Year to you too! I have so enjoyed watching Gambit this past year becoming more online yet still keeping the presses rolling. In my line of work we run across media punks all the time who just won't listen to Editilla. Go Figure. But you always do and respond with grace and aplomb to my yo'so humble entreaties. And more times than not you do just what I ask of you... sorta... eventually. Just kidding, suffice to say Gambit is one of the most responsive and adaptive News Media Outlets I have seen. Here's to'da Years! And many more... Thanks youz.
