Krewe of Dead Pelicans takes wing tonight in the Warehouse District

Gambit contributor Matt Davis attended tonight's jazz funeral for the Gulf of Mexico staged by the new Krewe of Dead Pelicans, which marched through the Warehouse Arts District in New Orleans style (complete with its own signature cocktail, the Oil Slick -- proceeds from which went to the Gulf Coast Fund).
