Gay Republican condoms?

Today in "News You Won't Read in The Times-Picayune": Our friends at the Minneapolis-St. Paul City Pages report that during the city's gay pride festival last weekend, the local chapter of the gay conservative group Log Cabin Republicans was handing out free condoms with the slogan "Drill, Baby, Drill" on them.

Ahh, the Log Cabin Republicans who are upset that the Texas Republican Party is unfairly being tagged as homophobic simply because the Texas GOP has endorsed criminalizing same sex marriage and jailing people for gay sex. Nahh, I'll take my dose of gay creativity from the Scissor Sisters Night Work playing repetitively on my iPod.
