In the spring, Arthur Mintz and a crew of artists turned the third floor of the CAC into a cardboard catacomb in which to stage an interactive puppet version of Roald Dahl's Fantastic Mr. Fox. (Previewed here, reviewed here). Performances discontinued at the end of April, but the set is still there, and the show will be remounted for eight weeks beginning on Nov. 12. While Mintz himself handled the puppet for Mr. Fox, he's handing over the reins to two separate casts for the second run, and a couple of scenes will be altered. Local puppeteers the Black Forest Fancies (now aka Mudlark Public Theater) will work the puppets in one cast. The show is again expected to run several times a day Fridays through Sundays.
