How incredible is it that you live in a city where for a few Wednesdays a year you can get over the hump day blues with a free concert featuring some of the Crescent City's most legendary musicians.

The Treme Brass Band and Dr. John headlined this Wednesday's Harvest the Music concert at Lafayette Square. If that wasn't enough, the hundreds (thousands?) of people that showed up were also treated to Allen Toussaint who sat in for a few songs (if you missed him, he'll be closing out the concert series on November 3rd).

Oh, and it was all free.

I say again: Legendary.
