Marigny memoriam

An appropriate theme for this upcoming art show might be (to paraphrase Faulkner): "Our departed loved ones are never dead. They aren't even departed." The Skull Club (1003. N. Spain St.), an alternative gallery in the Marigny, pays full-on homage to the dead with its Resurrection and Remembrance art show at 9 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 9. Created by performance artist Andrea Duhe and Skull Club proprietor Lord David, the 21+ show features an altar, art by Molly McGuire, Mattie Stillwell, Mardi Claw, Valery Milovic and others, and live music by Ratty Scurvics and Doc Otis.
