White House executive chef Chris Comerford released the White House Mess menu for Dec. 1, in conjunction with "America's Night Out for Gulf Seafood." There's several Creole dishes, but a lot of Alabama seafood. What's up with that?

Also, the White House blog offers up a recipe for shrimp....cocktail. C'mon! No remoulade - that's just weak. Rev up the secession engines, people.
