Earn a shot at Rotary Downs on Rock Band

Rock Band wizards who also are fans of Rotary Downs can earn a chance to go head-to-head with the band Wednesday at Le Bon Temps Roule (4801 Magazine St., 897-3448). Two of the band's songs ("Promised Land" and "Bullet on a String") are in the video game's catalog. Sign up for teams begins at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Competitors start the digital shredding at 9 p.m. The winners get to take on Rotary Downs.
