Liuzza Palooza: a fine day in Mid-City

Posted By on Sun, May 15, 2011 at 6:21 PM

A huge crowd turned out in Mid-City today for Liuzza Palooza, the food and music fundraiser for Liuzza's owner Mike Bordelon, who was severely injured in a car wreck earlier this year when he was hit by a drunk driver. (Ian McNulty's story is here.) From the Ritz-Carlton to Lucky Dogs, the food came from all over the New Orleans culinary map — along with music by Rockin' Dopsie Jr., a classic car show, a crafts area and more. (Bonus: no long lines.)
