Florence Welch and C.C. Adcock's New Orleans project: "Not Fade Away"

Posted By on Fri, Jun 3, 2011 at 7:00 AM

When Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine was in town last year to perform at the Voodoo Music Experience, she gave an interview to our Lauren LaBorde ... and, it seems, record the Buddy Holly classic "Not Fade Away" with producer C.C. Adcock.

It's part of a new tribute comp titled Rave On Buddy Holly, which comes out June 28 and also features The Black Keys, My Morning Jacket, Modest Mouse, Cee-Lo and a couple of folkies popular around New Orleans: Justin Townes Earle and John Doe.

"Not Fade Away" is shot at various locations around town, including Lafayette Cemetery. See if you can pick out all of them.
