Ray Nagin's book tour schedule

After a two-week publishing delay, former mayor Ray Nagin's memoir, Katrina's Secrets, is set for publication June 22 (Gambit's request for an advance review copy was met with a polite note but no book), and Nagin is set for a national media blitz beginning Monday in New York, when he'll not only appear on Today, but also The Daily Show With Jon Stewart. On Tuesday, he's scheduled to appear on CNN and MSNBC.
Wednesday will bring the New Orleans unveiling of Katrina's Secrets, with a "morning press briefing" (time and place TBA) at which copies of the book will be distributed, as well as a signing that evening at the Ashe Cultural Arts Center from 6 to 9 pm.
The book, which is self-published by CreateSpace and sold by Amazon, is available for pre-purchase here for $17.99; a Kindle edition is reportedly on the way.
