Flip-Flops That Rock

I know people who have proclaimed their personal nirvana would be living in flip-flops — no dress shoes for men or compressing high heels for women. I suspect Flops That Rock designer Carol Dahl — or a lot of her friends — are among those people. She’s solving that problem for women (sorry guys, nothing for you yet) by hand-decorating a few different styles of flip-flops with Swarovski crystals, pearls, beads and chains. There are even designs to wear to a wedding.
Flops That Rock cost $95 and come in 36 limited-edition styles in three collections Dahl says were inspired by the beach culture, casual atmosphere and stylishness of Brazil. She opted for the comfort and versatility of flip-flops and added bold embellishments to make them more attractive and fun. You also can order custom designs that run $125 to $150.
They aren’t in local stores yet, but you can look at the designs at Flops That Rock’s website.
