Attention, stylish New Orleans men!

Posted By on Mon, Aug 22, 2011 at 11:41 AM

From Vince Vance...

to Mr. Bingle...

...the men of New Orleans are, well, iconic and beloved, but fashionable they mostly ain't. And yet. AND YET, I hold out hope, because you fashionable gents are out there. I see you lurking behind the counter at Aidan Gill, all pastel seersucker, expertly knotted bowties and smiles. I admire you as you lounge in the smoky recesses of Mimi's, with your perfectly disheveled hair, slim-fitting jeans and peacoats. And sometimes I don't laugh at you when I see you cruising on a tall bike, rocking your own unwashed brand of newsboy-chic. Some of you fellas do that look quite well.

But I digress. The point is, STYLISH MEN ARE OUT THERE. And Rubensteins and CUE would like to reward you for being so easy on the eyes. So we have teamed up to create the inaugural Rubensteins Men's Style Awards. Three of New Orleans' most stylish men will each receive a prize package valued at more than $2,000, which includes a suit from Rubensteins, a $250 gift certificate from Earthsavers, a $250 gift certificate from St. Charles Vision, a three-month couples’ membership to Premier Fitness, and services and products from Paris Parker Salon. And they will be featured in a fashion spread in an upcoming issue of CUE.

To enter, send a current photo of the nominee with your contact information and his contact information to by Wednesday, Sept. 21 (or nominate yourself!). Ten finalists will be selected, and an online and in-store voting process will determine the winner. Please enter, and let us prove to GQ the error of their ways.
