PS22 Chorus does GIVERS

Posted By on Tue, Nov 1, 2011 at 9:48 AM

World's most adorable children's chorus PS22, who in the past has sung angelic renditions of everything from Rolling Stones to Lady Gaga and has appeared on the Oscars, recently covered Lafayette band GIVERS' (read Alex Woodward's profile of the band here) catchy Afro-pop jam "Up Up Up." Warning: this video is NSFW, in that you may start sobbing uncontrollably at your workspace when confronted with such pure cuteness and joy.

Lead by instructor Gregg Breinberg, the chorus of fifth graders is based out of Public School 22 in New York's Staten Island. They've done takes on classics like "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" on the Oscars (you're really gonna start crying over that one) and even Pitchfork darling Ariel Pink's "On and On". Check their blog and YouTube channel for more adorableness. It's the perfect way to ease out of your Halloween hangover.
