Sure, plenty of other things happened this past week, but all anyone wanted to talk about was the Chris Paul trade kerfuffle that went down last Thursday. For anyone who took up residence under the proverbial rock last week, evil NBA commissioner/de facto Hornets owner David Stern nixed a deal that would have sent Paul to the Lakers and would have given us Kevin Martin, Luis Scola and Kardashian husband Lamar Odom. New Orleans briefly fantasized about CP3/Kobe Bryant man-dates and Khloe and Lamar Take New Orleans before Stern squashed the deal. Also this week: a heart attack-inducing Saints game, Newt Gingrich and holiday cheer!
Boring programming note: From now on, the tweet roundup will encompass Monday through Sunday of each week. Before it was labeled Monday through Monday, but since I post the roundup in the morning or early afternoon on Monday, I want to make sure I don't miss any of tweets from the rest of the day. Hope that makes sense.
