Charitable Film Network and local arts collective Press Street will present a free screening of The Camouflaged Truth on Saturday, April 7, at 6:30 p.m. at Antenna Gallery, 3162 Burgundy Street in the Bywater. The film explores the circumstances around the conviction of hip-hop artist Mckinley “Mac” Phipps Jr., who is currently serving a 30-year sentence for manslaughter. A part of Master P's No Limit Records stable of artists, Mac is widely believed to be innocent of the crime, which occured shortly before a show he was headlining in Slidell.

Mac's mother and New Orleans artist Sheila Phipps will participate in a short discussion following the screening. For more information or to rsvp, write to Seating is limited.
