
Hurricane Isaac has forced the postponement of several local productions. But Culture Collision, the preview party featuring 50 local performing arts organizations, museums and other cultural groups is 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5 at Generations Hall. There's still an after-party as well. It has not changed.
-At Rivertown Theaters, Theatre 13's Legally Blonde: The Musical has delayed its opening until Friday, Sept. 14.
-NOLA Project and Cripple Creek Theatre have postponed the opening of Balm in Gilead to Thursday, Sept. 13.
-Jose Torres Tama postponed his show From Chocolate City to the an Enchilada Village to Tuesday Sept. 11 at Shadowbox Theatre.
-Jim Fitzmorris has extended his run of Urban Education Smackdown. It will move to Mid-City Theatre Thursday to Sunday, Sept. 13-15.
