Jonathan Vilma declares victory, but has he really won?

Posted By on Fri, Sep 7, 2012 at 2:54 PM

Reports are coming out that the players suspended over the Saints allegedly bounty scheme have been cleared to play. Jonathan Vilma has declared victory, although the head of the Tulane Sports Law Department, Gabe Feldman, says that this isn't the end.

Basically, the court has said that Goodell's original punishment doesn't stand, but he's in the right to punish the players again.

Translation: don't start celebrating yet.
