Posted by on Fri, Sep 7, 2012 at 3:33 PM

The New Orleans Museum of Art resumes its Where Y'Art series tonight with live music and a screening of The Princess and the Frog in the Sydney and Walda Besthoff Sculpture Garden. The inspiration for the film's princess, Tiana, is chef Leah Chase, who is featured in the expo Leah Chase: Paintings by Gustave Blanche III.

From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. there's food, music by John Doheny and art making opportunities for kids. The film screens at 8 p.m.

The museum reopens Tuesday after closing during Hurricane Isaac. Admission is free on Tuesday and Wednesday. Normal admission resumes Thursday.
