Lil Wayne loses lawsuit, ordered to cough up more than $2 million in countersuit

Posted by on Mon, Nov 5, 2012 at 11:28 PM

Two months ago, Lil Wayne went to court with the producers of The Carter, a 2009 documentary about him, saying they used his music without permission. And the producers — including Quincy Jones III — countersued him, claiming he damaged the market potential of their movie.

The jury didn't see it Wayne's way — and ordered the rapper to pay $2.195 million to the producers. Ouch.

Here's the documentary. Judge for yourself.
