Trash cans blocking off parking: check

Lots of spray paint and netted-off front lawns. Not pictured: New Orleans' original trash-can-and-piece-of-spare-lumber parking space savers.
NOPD barricades at the ready. Houses bedecked with banners hailing the conquering krewe, which arrives Saturday afternoon.
