New Orleans is one of first U.S. locations planned to have an in-store home collection. Why was it chosen to debut the Home collection?
New Orleans is one of the biggest new markets we will have opened this year. The size and historic nature of this new location made it a perfect choice to debut our Home collection.
Is the French Quarter location hiring?
We are absolutely hiring. We have already hired approximately 80 staff locally and we plan to add more staff to our local team.
What styles and trends will people find in the store?
Key trends for the party and holiday season include looks that are based on tuxedo dressing, sequin embroidery on knits, tuxedo details, satin-look fabrics, hairy knits and message print on sweaters. Quirky knits, tartan, jacquard blazers, Fair Isle knits, printed denim and velvet will also be part of the key looks for the end of the year.
Anything else you would like to add?
This store opening, like each one before it, is incredibly important to us and we want to celebrate it in our own unique way. We want to show our appreciation to the local community. We are so fortunate that the communities where we are located have embraced our brand and fashion point of view to such a level that opening day becomes become a true event.
