Thieves stole "huge portion of gear" from Brass Bed's tour van

Touring in support of its acclaimed 2013 album The Secret Will Keep You, Lafayette-New Orleans power-pop outfit Brass Bed reports its tour van was broken into while in Chicago, where the band performed Jan. 14. "A huge portion of our gear is missing," the band wrote on Facebook. It canceled tonight's show in Pittsburgh.

The band already had a rough start with tour, having to cancel the first three shows (in Memphis, St Louis, and Jackson, Miss.) due to illness and a death in the family, and it also canceled its show in Louisville later this month. Below is a list of stolen gear the band hopes to recover:
