WTUL finishes its 2014 Rock On Survival Marathon pledge drive this weekend with festivities that include two benefit screenings of 1979 classic Rock 'n' Roll High School at the Prytania Theatre, Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29 at midnight. Originally intended by exploitation-film impresario Roger Corman as an update of 1950s and '60s teen rebellion movies, Rock 'n' Roll High School now enjoys cult status thanks to the presence of punk rock pioneers the Ramones at the peak of their glory. The film has aged well. Ticket are $10 and are available here. Full schedule of WTUL pledge drive activities here.
