LSU and Tulane players drafted by the Saints: a look back

Former Saints running back Hokie Gajan was the third LSU player drafted by the New Orleans Saints.

Since the New Orleans Saints started playing in the NFL in 1967, they have drafted 16 total players from LSU and Tulane in the NFL draft. Eight players each from LSU and Tulane were drafted by the Saints. Here's a list of those players, their respective positions, the rounds they were drafted in and the year they were taken.

Devery Henderson - Wide Receiver • 2nd round (2004)

Bart Graves - Offensive Tackle • 15th round (1971)


Steve Barrios - Wide Receiver • 14th round (1972)


Rusty Lachaussee - Quarterback • 15th round (1972)


Tommy Thibodeaux - Guard • 10th round (1974)


Mike Truax - Defensive End • 13th round (1974)


Charles Hall - Defensive Tackle • 4th round (1975)


Marvin Lewis - Running Back • 6th round (1982)


Trey Songy - Defensive Back • 12th round (1985)
