Former Saints kicker, John Carney

Former New Orleans Saints John Carney and Aaron Brooks have been elected to the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame.

Aaron Brooks, quarterback from 2000-2005, led the team to its first ever playoff win vs St. Louis in 2000. He also ranks second, behind quarterback Drew Brees, with 120 passing touchdowns in team history.

John Carney, kicker from 2001-2006 and 2009-10, currently shares the Saints team record for field goals made in season (2002) with 31.

Misc.

I'll admit that I definitely had some trouble writing the words "Aaron Brooks" and "Hall of Fame" into this column. Here are some moments we all may remember from Brooks' and Carney's history with the team. We kid because we care, guys. Congrats to both of you.
