Dis Taco, Killer Poboy's spinoff taco spot, will close for good Saturday

Dis Taco, the Mexican food spinoff from Chef Cam Boudreaux and April Bellow, the team behind Killer Poboys, will serve their last meal this Saturday.

Open for just over a year, Dis Taco has been turning out chorizo tacos and Chihuahua cheese quesadillas in the rear courtyard of Molly's at the Market, making it a go-to spot for a delicious, late night drunk meal.

"Dis Taco just didn't really catch on. We gave it a shot for almost a year," said Boudreaux.

While the quality dining option will certainly be missed on Decatur Street, fans of Killer Poboys, have no fear: the flagship space will remain open in its cozy rear digs at Erin Rose Bar (811 Conti) and may be making an appearance at this year's Po-Boy Fest in November.
