The New Orleans chapter of the U.S. Men's National Team support group American Outlaws has announced a series of watch parties and events during the World Cup. Watch parties will be held at the Rendezvous Tavern on Magazine Street for all U.S. World Cup matches, beginning with their opener against Ghana at 5 p.m. on Monday, June 16. AO NOLA Officer Rob Nelson said that, beginning at 3:30 p.m, there will be free beer provided for everyone wearing U.S. Men's National soccer team or American Outlaw gear.
Watch parties will also be held for the U.S. games against Portugal (June 22, 5 p.m.) and Germany (June 26, 11 a.m.) and details for both can be found on the AO NOLA Facebook page. AO NOLA will be setting up at 1 p.m. for the Portugal game at Rendezvous Tavern for anyone wishing to watch the earlier games and get some free food from Nirvana.
AO NOLA gear is available for purchase at the watch parties and anyone wishing to sign up for the American Outlaws can do so at the group's website.
On top of the watch parties, the New Orleans Jesters soccer team will be hosting an AO NOLA night for the Jesters game on June 21 at Pan-American Stadium. Tickets are $10 and include access to the pre-game tailgate that starts at 4 p.m. (the game kicks off at 7 p.m.).
