Jeff Bridges' latest film The Giver isn't thrilling critics, so fans of one of his most memorable roles, The Dude in The Big Lebowski, may want to instead see that role immortalized in iambic pentameter. Filmmaker Adam Bertocci adapted the Raymond Chandler-esque story into a five-act Shakespearian play. There's a reading of Two Gentlemen of Lebowski at Mid-City Theatre Friday and Saturday (yes, on shomer Shabbos). Matthew Rigdon is The Knave and Michael Martin is Sir Lebowski. There's a $10 suggested donation and readings begin at 8 p.m. Wear your bathrobe.
