If you missed out or fell off the wagon during the Eat Local Challenge in June, another opportunity to ditch processed food (at least temporarily) begins in September.
The Arabella Station location of Whole Foods Market and LIFE Yoga are partnering for a 21-day yoga and healthy eating challenge beginning Sept. 1, based on the premise that it takes 21 days to develop a habit. Participants commit to completing 21 days of yoga over the course of the month and attend a series of four cooking classes hosted by Whole Foods. Classes held at Whole Foods "teach participants how to cut out processed foods and eat a plant-based diet."
Whole Foods will host free outdoor yoga classes beginning on 8 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29.
The all-inclusive cost for participating is $75, and those who successfully complete the challenge will receiving a five-class package to LIFE Yoga and a gift certificate to Whole Foods.
