Second Line: Saturday with Black Men of Labor & Sunday with Men of Class

This weekend is chocked full of great second line activity featuring Black Men of Labor downtown on Saturday and Men of Class Uptown on Sunday.

Black Men of Labor 22nd Annual Second Line

2 p.m.-6 p.m.Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015

Start: Sweet Lorraine's Jazz, 1931 St. Claude Avenue. Up St. Claude and veer right onto St. Anthony Street. Continue on St. Anthony, cross St. Bernard onto Henriette Delille St. Continue on Henriette Delille.

Stop: Backstreet Cultural Museum, 1116 Henriette Delille St. The line's next stop is Little People's Place, 1226 Barracks St. (Don't have the actual route - it's just a few blocks away, so follow the crowd).

Stop: Little People's Place. Down Barracks to Treme St. Right on Treme. Down Treme to Esplanade Avenue. Left on Esplanade. Down Esplanade to N. Robertson St. Left on N. Robertson St.

Stop: Candle Light Lounge. Continue on N. Robertson to Basin St. Right on Basin St. to N. Claiborne Avenue. Continue on Claiborne to St. Bernard Ave. Left on St. Bernard. Continue on St. Bernard and veer off to A.P. Tureaud. Continue on A.P. Tureaud to Aubry St.

Stop: Seal's Class Act. Out N. Miro to Lapeyrouse and then left on N. Galvez. Continue on N. Galvez to St. Bernard Ave. Right on St. Bernard. Down St. Bernard Avenue to N. Rampart. Left on Rampart continuing to St. Claude.

Disband: Sweet Lorraine's

Men Of Class Annual Second Line

1 p.m.-5 p.m. Sunday Oct.18, 2015

START: 59 Design Louisiana and Lasalle. Down Lasalle to Washington, right on Washington, left of Dryades STOP: SPORTSMANS LOUNGE, 2nd and "D", Sportsman Ladies/Ladies of Unity.

RESTART: Out 2nd and "D" to left down Dryades to Phillip St; Left on Phillip St, right on Oretha Castle Haley; Left on Jackson Ave; Down Jackson Ave to Simon Bolivar; STOP: CHICKEN MART, Men of Class Lady Booster: Toast to Queen and Tribute to Breast Cancer Awareness.

RESTART: Left down Simon Bolivar to Washington; STOP: LADY BUCKJUMPERS/WOMEN OF CLASS.

RESTART: Down Lasalle to Louisiana; Right on Louisiana; Left on Freret; Right on General Taylor; STOP: GENERAL TAYLOR AND MAGNOLIA: Pyt Ladies and Broadway Ladies.

RESTART: Up General Taylor to S. Claiborne Ave; Right on S. Claiborne Ave; Down S. Claiborne Ave to Washington Ave; Left on Washington; STOP: TAPPS AND FOX BAR, Single men/True Breed.

RESTART: Proceed down Washington Ave. to Daiquiri Avenue Sports Bar 4201 Washington Ave;
