, performing as a rollicking, stripped-down trio weaving raspy anecdotes through two hours of his songs, buoyed by three-part harmonies and his low growl.
Shovels & Rope — South Carolina's husband-and-wife duo Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent — was set to perform at Hogs for the Cause April 1 but bad weather forced the gates to close. The band's frequent New Orleans tour stops (including its 2015 Jazz Fest debut
