Watch: dancing like everyone's watching in Video Age's "Dance Square"

New Orleans duo Video Age makes its debut with Living Alone July 29 on Inflated Records. The band has teased its release with the hazy Kinks guitar pop of "Throwing Knives" and a video for "Dance Square," directed by local filmmaker Harry Bartle, whose gorgeous, surreal short film Rouler, Sonner premiered at the 2015 New Orleans Film Festival. "Dance Square" adds New Romantic, lo-fi synth pop to the band's cassette-warped rock 'n' roll.

The video debuted on Noisey — Bartle said the band was inspired by the video's star, Tyler, "getting down at my birthday party." A star is born:
