"Eiron Alliance: A Week Of Giving For Louisiana Flood Victims,
" a week of comedy shows,  begins tonight with performances at Twelve Mile Limit and the Broad Theater. Other venues holding comedy relief shows during the week include Sidney's Saloon, The New Movement, Howlin' Wolf and Hi-Ho Lounge. Among the events is the "Dean's List Flood Relief Talent Show" at the New Movement on Wednesday at 8 p.m.

At each of the shows, comics will be raising money and taking donations for a supply run to Baton Rouge next weekend.

The effort is being coordinated by local comedian Andrew Healan through the Eiron Alliance, a local group that connects comics with good causes. Full lineup of shows here.
