The wine is simultaneously subtle and complex, offering layers of aroma like cologne, green pine needles, apricots and dried cherries. The taste is sweet without being syrupy and fruity without distinct fruit flavors. It has an alcoholic, full-bodied warmth that sips beautifully on its own and would go well with Friday night, pizza and a movie.
