In recognition of Pete Fountain's induction to the New Orleans Musical Legends Park, there will be a fundraiser gala to raise money for New Orleans Musical Legends Foundation. Evening features music by Pete Fountain, Ellis Marsalis, Charmaine Neville, Chris Owens, Irma Thomas, Allen Toussaint and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, catered food and drinks. IRISH FALL FESTIVAL. O'Flaherty's Irish Channel Centre & Pub, 514 Toulouse St., 529-1317. Second-annual festival celebrating Irish food, culture and music. Musical entertainment begins at 11:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday and lasts into the evening. This 41st annual show presented by Press Club of New Orleans parodying local politics and newsmakers, with this year's headliner Mayor Ray Nagin. Proceeds benefit Press Club's Scholarship Fund. SUNFLOWERS IN THE SHADE MUSIC BENEFIT. The Howlin' Wolf, 828 S. Peters St., 522-WOLF (9653). Benefit for Sunflowers in the Shade, a music program for homeless children with regular workshops at Covenant House.
