This 15th annual festival features catering by Elizabeth's Restaurant, Bywater BBQ and Chef Kevin Belton, with games, prizes, and live music by Anders Osborne, Elvis Marsalis and Washboard Chaz. $5 admission, benefits the Bywater Neighborhood Association in purchasing children's playground equipment. 10 a.m. until dark Saturday and Sunday.

BUCKET BRIGADE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION. Mystery Park, Esplanade Avenue across from Whole Foods, 269-5070. Nonprofit environmental activist group Louisiana Bucket Brigade, working with communities in "Cancer Alley," celebrates its second birthday with catered foods by Whole Foods and Cafe Degas and live music by the Panorama Jazz Band.
