FORTUNA'S DIXIE GYROS
110 Carondelet St. 523-6614.
Along with the New Orleans influence found in the highly touted beignets,
the Greek and Middle Eastern flavors at Fortuna's are seen in the top-selling
gyros, served either as a sandwich or plate, which come with rice or French
fries. Gyros options include beef, lamb, chicken or falafel. The hummus is
a favorite side or starter. Delivery available. No reservations. Breakfast,
lunch and dinner daily. Credit cards. $
